Holiday Cottage Tariffs
Cottage rentals usually run from Friday to Friday (arrive and leave on Friday). Short breaks run from Monday (arrive) to Friday (depart) and from Friday (arrive) to Monday(depart). Check-in time is usually 4.00pm and check-out 10.00am. However we can be flexible depending on bookings pre- and post- your stay.

We will occasionally auction weeks on Ebay if they have not been pre-booked at least a couple of weeks before due. However, during the summer we have often been fully booked so if you want to be sure of your booking please book up as early as you can.
Booking holiday cottages.
Please select your week, check availability on this web-site, and email, call or write to confirm your requirements. We will hold booking requests for 1 week (if given sufficient notice) but will require a deposit of 20% to reserve your week(s). This deposit is refundable if you cancel up to six weeks before your week. Thereafter it is refundable only if we are able to re-rent the week. Full payment is required 4 weeks before your arrival. Again this is refundable only if we are able to re-book the week and only to the extent that the re-booking covers your rental (because last minute bookings may be substantially less than full price bookings).

Legal.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to honour your booking for reasons related to ourselves all money received will be returned. However we cannot accept any other liability in this regard (for example for consequential costs associated with booking a different holiday or additional travel expenses) and recommend that you take out your own holiday insurance, including cancellation insurance.
Please note that the holiday cottages are non-smoking. Please also note that the Mill's gardens include an unfenced river with soft banks and a variety of sluices. In some places there is a considerable deposit of silt in the river which could be hazardous. We can only accommodate children if they are responsible or under the continuous supervision of adults.
We accept guide dogs by prior arrangement. However the cottages are advertised as pet free and for people who are allergic to dog or cat hair this is important. We are therefore unable to accept other pets.
